I Sushi is nothing special. It has a dark interior environment and not great service. I had the agedashi tofu, dynamite roll and one piece salmon. My friend had seaweed salad, dynamite roll (with brown rice),, BC roll and California roll. Initially my friend asked for the spinach gomai and we were told they were out of, which in my opinion was weird as they had spinach in my dynamite roll. Anyhow, my dynamite roll wasn’t too great and it wasn’t big either. The prawn was cooked too much and it lacked some flavour. My one piece of salmon was really small there was more rice than salmon. I tried one piece of the California roll and it was an average roll. My friend’s brown rice roll looked as though the brown rice had more moisture than it should have.When it came to paying for the bill we had to get the attention of the young female server who was playing on her cell phone in the corner. I did not appreciate that because she was preoccupied with technology instead of her customers. The overall service wasn’t outstanding and the price you pay for the sushi was overpriced.

Also ordered a chicken Teriyaki roll and some toro… Toro was good, chicken teriyaki roll was tiny and full of cartilage too bad because everything else was good.
Gloomy and expensive. This place is one block away from where I live. I went in once by myself and once again with my boyfriend. Both times it was dark and no one else was eating there. Their specialty items are delicious and the ingredients are fresh, but the portions are too small. If you come here for lunch, I recommend sticking to their popular dishes. Overall, I do not recommend this place because I found it a bit too pricey and the ambiance is too gloomy to really enjoy the meal. I order take out from time to time only because it is close by. My favourite roll is the Sushi Sandwich with salmon.
Kimchi Mentaiko Udon!. I sushi has okay creative rolls (order the Brazil Samba if you do, it’s the most interesting of the bunch), but yakiudon is where they really shine. Their kimchi mentaiko udon is the best in town imo. If you like yours creamy, flavorful and packed with mentaiko, come here. 😀

Fresh and Fast. My old business partner and friend was in my neighbourhood for work 2 days ago so we met at I Sushi for a late lunch. It was my 1st time there but my friend has been there before and it was his suggestion. The service was fast and friendly just what you want for a busy day with limited time for lunch and my friend was pleased with this. We both had the Bento Box and both the hot food and sushi was very good for $9. We’ll be meeting there for lunch again soon.
Another satisfying meal with our 2 year old grandson. Good food, friendly staff.
