Ordered take out from here and was surprised by how much they can pack into one take out box. I turned it into three more meals (I did add more things to it). I think for the price, it’s worth it. I had the pad Thai box with a combo of proteins. I chose tofu and prawns. For spiciness, I chose mild. I thought there was a pretty good amount of tofu and prawns. The noodles were very flavourful and it felt fresh with the veggies on top. The only downside was because they really pack it in, it was hard for me to eat the noodles out of the box. They were quite stuck together. Other than that, I think I would definitely come back if I’m in the area.
We went to this place for an early lunch. This is like a semi-fast food setup, where you find your own seat and order from the counter. I ordered the black bean and ginger noodle with tofu. It was quite flavorful and not salty. You can also pick the level of spiciness.
I really enjoyed the lunch that I had at The Noodle Box in Kits. Service was super fast (like I placed my order, went to the washroom to wash my hands and when I returned my dish was ready fast) and friendly. I was impressed with the array of choices and had a hard time settling on the Spicy Peanut Noodle Bowl because they all sounded so good. I was happy that they had tofu as a protein option (and I believe it was organic – which can be hard to find when eating out). The dish was very flavourful – slightly addicting actually. The toppings were generous and I was more than satisfied with my meal. I will definitely be returning.
A good attempt to make a hip noodle joint, however, a little bit on the salty side and the service was really slow. On the good side, the portions were above average and the atmosphere was decent. I would recommend eating in as opposed to getting takeout.
I used to love this place and the food used to be quite fresh and wholesome but today we got two dishes and they are horrible!! I don’t know what’s happening to this place or weather the owner has changed but the food that I got is incomparable to what they used to serve. The taste is horrible, the spice is off and it’s too watery! I hate it and If I hadn’t gotten take out I would have left it there.I just did call them and their owners have changed so if you used to like noodlebox, know that it’s not the same anymore and in fact it’s horrible. Such a a shame as it was one of the few places you could get rather fresh cooked food but not anymore.
You get noodles in a box… or they’re in a bowl if you eat in. Expect a level of food that’s definitely above what you’d get at a mall food court, but it’s hardly amazing. Many of them come at your preferred level of spiciness and your choice of protein. The pad thai’s not bad. michaelkwan.com
To summarize This slop is akin to frat house attempt to recreate their drugged kho samhui experience without the benefit of fresh ingredients
