Yum! My sister brought me here for a work day lunch and it was pretty good — pleasantly surprised that this place is in Kitslano. I got the butter chicken stew with brown rice and coleslaw. It really hit the spot since the weather has been getting chillier. it was not as creamy than other places but still had a sweet tangy flavour and a good amount of chicken breast. I would definitely come back and try their other items: wraps, sandwiches, and stews.
Fantastic Lunches. Great food, great lattes and pleasant service. Everything a stressed out executive needs to get away from the office!
Best Soup in Kits. I had the most delicious Harvest Vegetable soup.It was a tomato base with lots of fresh brocollis, carrots, roasted zucchini and a whole lot more. I had to mention this cause it was my fifth time trying soup at Pane and they were all delicious and tasty.
Delicious & Affordable. My buddy ask me to meet him at Pane for lunch. It was my first time at Pane and had no idea what to have..The girl behind the counter welcomed us and suggested their lunch specials. I had the Tandoori Chicken Panini with a delicious Morroccan soup and my buddy had the Lemon grass Chicken. I just wanted to say that was the most delicious panini and soup I ever had.I would definitely be back..it’s too bad I dont live or work in the area
Good food and coffee. I have been going to Pane From Heaven for the past 2 years. I never had anything that is not good. Everything is delicious and fresh. I just read about the last person who had a terrible cappuccino and bad service, I think you are just a competitior who is jealous or simply just have no taste in good coffee and food.I don’t know who owns the cafe, but everytime I go I get good service and good coffee. I usually go in around 830 am to grab my delicious latte, and back again around lunch to get my gourmet soups. The staff is always friendly and fast. We have to understand this is a small neighbourhood cafe and they are doing an excellent job.
That was Pane’s last chance. I decided to give Pane yet another try as I had an appointment in the area. This visit solidified the impression I had formed the previous times. This time the owner was around and he was even more morose looking than his employees. The cappuccino I had was so bad I had to get rid of more than half of it. I would advise you to do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.14 Feb, 2012Don’t bother. Service is impersonal and snappy, especially when the owner isn’t there, food and coffee mediocre at best. Don’t waste your money or time here when Vancouver is blessed with coffee/lunch spots willing to offer much more.
Karen. About two months ago I started working in the neighborhood and my co-workers recommended me to Pane From Heaven. The whole office talks about the amazing food and coffee. I practically go there two time a day, my delicious latte every morning and my lunch or snack. The paninis are to die for just as well as the homemade soups, especially the curry chicken or moroccan chicken. The service is excellent just like the food. What more can I say! I love this place!
