Great Delivery Service. We ordered Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Beans and Beef for delivery. Food was delivered promptly. After opening all the food we realized that they had included Chicken Satay instead of Chicken Pad Thai. We called to notify them of the error. They sent out their delivery man immediately and we had the pad thai within 10 minutes with no additional charge. They also left us with the Satay. Note: Order by number to avoid any sort of confusion.Food was delicious. Was really nice to see this situation managed so quickly.

Don’t deliver to my area any more. I would understand if I was in Burnaby or something, but I’m at Fraser Street and they won’t deliver to my area, apparently it is too far east 🙁
Good value. Drove one hour to go to Akbar restaurant which stated that they opened at 12 pm yet they told us to come back in 1-2 hours as food was not cooked. We went to Papaya Hut and were pleasantly surprised at the value and quality of food in the Lunch menu. Service was quick. Less than 5 minutes from order to receiving food.
Run By People Who Don’t Know Thai Food – Or Hate People Who Do. We wanted to order thai last night but, since our go-to restaurant, Bob Likes Thai Food, doesn’t deliver, we opted for Papaya Hut. We ordered a papaya salad, green curry chicken, and beef lettuce wraps. The green curry was watery and insipid, devoid of any basil flavor while the beef in the lettuce wraps was gummy and, frankly, kind of funky. I didn’t try the papaya salad but my girlfriend did and found it overly sweet and sour.We had quite a bit of leftovers – which we ended up throwing away. There was no way I was going to put us through another round.If you like thai food, steer clear of this place. If Papaya Hut is actually Thai-owned, or has someone with a Thai background cooking n the kitchen, I’ll eat my hat. Or their green curry chicken again. No, given the choice, I’ll go with the hat.
Just ordered green curry and beef lettuce wraps… So bad. The curry was a white mess that was missing the real flavours that make it a green curry. The beef lettuce wraps we beefy mush. Stay away, there are 10 better places in Van.
Disappointment. If you want untraditional Thai, this is your place! Worse than mediocre. Despite their offer of a free dish next time, we will NOT be going back.
