One of the best places Ive been to in Kits! So much to love about this place. I love the layout and design of the restaurant. Its has elements of traditional Japanese design but with modern hints. The menu is teeming with creative culinary escapades. An option for just about anyone, or many options for one! I enjoyed the trio of different katsus, which were excellent. The sauce pairings and sesame seeds were the cherry on top.
First of all, be careful of the steep staircase when waiting around for your table to be ready. The dishes were generous and very well presented. What impressed me about this restaurant is their thoughtful accommodation of guests. They have blankets for people sitting out in the covered patio to ensure that they are comfortable and warm. We ordered prawns and boy, Ive never seen prawns that large before. We had two orders and were sufficiently filled. They could have been entrees and not just starters. There were some interesting presentation of food including a dish that had accessories (tiny clothes hanger with message). The dishes came with soup, rice and your main entree. It was affordable and felt like we got good value for what we expected.
