Lunch sets are definitely more food than one person can finish. The hamburger set was perfectly cooked. The special box is beautiful. Would have been 5 stars but they took off my favourite tuna bowl off the lunch menu.

A great Izakaya in the Fairview area. Very well priced compared to many of the places downtown. They have a great selection of drinks including many different sakes, as well as my favourite Calpico mix, the Suika Calpico. Their menu has many delicious dishes to choose from, all with varying flavours! I highly recommend trying the dish with Camembert cheese, the one in my picture. The name of the dish escapes me, but this will not disappoint. The pork inside was tender and tasted great with the broth of the soup. The Camembert had a perfect gooey texture, which was maintained by the the heat of the soup. Always excited to comeback.
Kingyu is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Vancouver. Happy to know that there is another Japanese restaurant Suika operated by the same group. I arrived at restaurant at 11:30 yesterday. No queue.Highly recommend the limited quantity lunch bento. The appearance and taste are both excellent. Waitress asked us which item we liked the most. My choice: crab Miso GratinDefinitely we will go there again.
