Really delicious food. The service was good and the ambience is nice and quiet. The menu has a wide variety of options and everything we tried was quite tasty.
stopped by on a sunny friday evening, after a long day with friends at kitsilano beach. the place had one group in the restaurant before us, and their food was slowly coming out. my group upon entering, was denied a booth seat when we requested it but we didn’t mind it too much. Each of us ordered our own dish; nothing too elaborate. as we waited for our food to come out, more customers trickled in slowly. 15 mins after, we finally got water and spent another 15 mins waiting. 40 mins later altogether, no food was leaving the kitchen, and other customers started to get fed off just like us. two tables that came in after us left because they were fed up with the everlasting wait time. after asking the waitress twice how long our food was, one of my friends got her dish. the rest of us sat waiting for another 10 mins. unfortunately, the waitress came back and finally notified us that there were no more noodles; something all 4 of us had ordered. frustrated, we ended up leaving as well. Very disappointed because I was hoping for a better experience here.
Tried this place for the first time. Ordered the spicy beef noodles and it was pretty lacklustre, the broth and the noodles were decent but the meat was really sub par. This being said, the food that other people ordered looked really good. Maybe it’s just the beef noodles that are lacking. I’ll come back and try their other dishes soon.
To say that I was surprise by the food at this restaurant. It is a fusion of Thai and Taiwan. It also part of bubble world. We order the hotpot which I found a bit to watery, but flavorful. The deep fried oysters were yummy. And the drunken prawns were delicious. The prawns were LARGE. This restaurant offers great value for the dollar. Most of its dishes are serve as set menu. Will need to go back and check other items. Cheers
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. I came in here thinking that the quality of food would somewhat resemble that of Bubble World, but boy, was I wrong. I’m a vegetarian and I ordered Veggie Stir Fry Vermicelli. Supposedly, it has Chinese chives, bamboo shoots, oyster mushrooms and etc…, but I had none of those. Instead, I got mostly red peppers plus very bland noodles. My girlfriend ordered a Szechwan Style Boiled Fish Pot, which according to her, was not bad but it was missing some ingredients as well. Thankfully, the milk tea was decent… I would not recommend this restaurant.
the shrimp paste cabbage tastes funny and weird, compares to the one that I tasted in Taiwan. And all the dishes are very salty. Service is bad as well.
