This place is for people who are very very particular about their coffee and only want to try the best of the best. This is not a place for caf bummers as it is very small, seating less than 5 people and has no surface to do work on. The concept is more of a social gathering of coffee lovers/addicts.I went during the weekends, which is run by a different owner with a different name called Moving Coffee (you can find them on Instagram). It is run by a couple who are extremely passionate and humblyproud of what they serve. They roast their own coffee beans and choose a certain brand of milk that is produced by grassfed cows for their espresso drinks. They don’t serve Americanos. What they do serve is a standard range of espresso based drinks, and an incredibly well executed pourover from their house roasted beans. Watching the male owner work his magic was like a performance. The copper pourover filters were not only a delight to admire, but they also are the owners own custom made pride and joy. Drinking my pourover left me in an umami state. My drink was smooth, just under being syrupy and had a pallet of notes. It was far from being like coffee; no bitterness at all. Mouthfeel was incredible and I can confidently say that it is the best pourover that I have ever enjoyed, and truly enjoyed. What topped the wonderful experience was the passion that the owner shared. He wholeheartedly explained his methods and beans, and was super enthusiastic to shared his knowledge. Hands down the BEST coffee in Vancouver. dimsumtrail.wordpress.com
