Love their chocolate! Never get a chance to bring it home, cuz I always finish everything after I got them! The green tea yuzo cake was creamy and fresh! Mascarpone cake was decent! The only downside of Thomas haas is… too far from my place!
Arguably the best bakery in town! The cakes, chocolates, and pastries are crafted beautifully, with attention to the details of each layer. You can taste the difference in the chocolate that is being used – the sweetness is not over powering. The owner’s passion and dedication really shows in the quality of the produce.Their double baked almond croissant is probably the best we have ever had. We have tried the famous one at Bouchon in Vegas – they were great, but did not even come close with the one at Thomas Haas.
We arrived there just before they were closed, so we didnt have many choices. I guess the popular pastries we wanted to try were already sold out. Still got some nice stuff. The staff there are really nice too. My kids and I loved and finished everything I bought. We were so happy to go there and enjoyed our little moment 😉
One of my go-to places for relaxing with a nice cup of Americano. So smooth!!! Tastes amazing right down to the very last sip!!! Their chocolates and pastries are delicious too! I would rank this place one of my top three cafe’s in Vancouver. The other two being: 49th Parallel and Milanos. Definitely a must try for visitors from out of town and those who appreciate great quality. You can really tell, Mr. Haas and his friendly staff are passionate about their: Coffee, Chocolates and Pastries.Being really popular, this little cafe can get quite busy. However, lineups go by fairly smoothly and quickly. Seating is limited. They do have a covered patio for those sunny afternoons. It doesn’t always rain in Vancouver!!! :PHighly recommended! Excellent quality! You’ll leave their place feeling better! What are you waiting for? Just go!!! 🙂
A very delicious handmade chocolate shop! It was so pretty that I figured it couldn’t possibly taste as good as it looked. Best chocolate ever!
I don’t have a huge sweet tooth but I’ve always been intrigued by Thomas Haas chocolates because everyone says that they’re amazing so when I received a boxful of their truffles, I was delighted to try all of them. Unfortunately I was disappointed to find that a majority of them were alcohol infused which I wasn’t a fan of and I found the fruity tropical white chocolate ones to be too sweet for my liking. With that being said, their chocolate was definitely good quality and would be great for most chocolate lovers just probably not anyone who isn’t a fan of sweet things! Although, I hear their macarons are a must try as well! eatmunchlove.com
The cakes here were delicious! I had the caramel praline cake and the green tea yuzu. The green tea one was unexpectedly very sour, but the texture was great. The praline cake was amazing. I loved the taste. The only that only downside is that the prices are quite high for the amount you get. If your into quality over quantity, then this place is for you.
