Came over from Victoria for a visit and had Vera’s for the very first time today, and WOW. I was blown away. The staff here were incredibly friendly & helpful, offered menu suggestions and substitutions for our party. Had chips & guacamole as an appy, and they make some killer guac! Our burgers were juicy, delicious, and sooo filling. Definitely, definitely, definitely will be returning!!
Rude nasty customer sevrice. So this location was my favorite by fare till I had this problem that happen(more Then once)I asked about the Natural burger and he huffed and rolled his eyes not when he blow he breath smelled of alcohol !@*# then he didn’t know what he was talking about at all ! Then I got my order witch was all wrong but think he did that on purpose not to mention he muttered some. Rude words under his breath while handing it to me @*#!? Rude rude RUDE I. Didn’t even want him to fix my order .Sad it was such nice place before (use to go 2 times a weekto 0) lost my business kid with. Glass and alcohol breath. Beware people

Burnt onion rings. Need I say more – have you ever tasted a burnt onion ring? Just picked up my to go order, opened the bag and it was VERY OBVIOUS that the onion rings had been burnt. How they could serve this to a customer is unforgivable!
These guys really know their customer service! It was busy and loud and my order was wrong – it happens. My order was remade, right away and they were really great about it.
Very dirty, needs a health inspector for the floors, washrooms, staff, kitchen, slow service, kids pumping out burgers at a slow rate of knots. Save your money as thus place is crazy expensive.
Vera’s Burger Shack is inconsistent!. What I have noticed is that Vera’s Burger Shack has gone downhill fast. The quality and consistency of the food served is poor. Burgers are often dry and overcooked (burned). The staff under trained and hygiene of the whole premises questionable. We have tried many locations with the same problems and don’t plan to go back there.
