Inconsistent portion size on food orders, when they don’t forget to whole ingredients. I ordered the burrito bowl 3x 1st time they forgot to put the chicken in, 2x it came without listed ingredients, 3x It came with a lot salad on top hardly no meat or rice. If you order from here to go, Make sure to check your order, staff here do not. Customer service was lacking. Was told if i did not like it eat somewhere else. And what did i expect as the employees are new. I never got an answer when i asked why there was no standardized training in portion control and quality control before products are released to the consumer. It was not until i posted this that i seen others dissatisfaction with this store.
There wasn’t much choice selection at kitsilano beach. I didn’t feel like haufing down a burger on a hot sweaty day. My girlfriend and I decided to walk to Cornwall street to see if there are some salad options. We noticed Veras had a taco shack section. Ok so we were tempted. We got a taco salad and the (3 Baja tacos for 8 bucks). The Salad is refreshing, only problem is the they just washed the lettuce and the water and salsa made it really soggy on the bottom. The Baja tacos had no wow factor… Perhaps some salsa or guacamole or something to jazz it up. It felt like it was missing something… And I didn’t get much fish, just loads of veggies… The person who was making it must be new. It took her a while to read that bill and yet… It wasn’t even busy… I’ll just say pass for now. Perhaps it’s better to just stick with burgers from Veras. It’s still a nice option for those who are vegetarian or people with religious beliefs.
