Hope your not hungry. Beef Yakisoba, was that beef or cardboard? luckily there wasn’t much of it whatever it was.Sent back and ordered chicken, played spot the chicken after that. All noodles with a tiny bit of cabbage and chicken. and barley enough to feed my budgie.More of the same from Ladner restaurants.
Lunch was quick & service was good. Great spicy rolls. We liked the crunchy tempura batter in them. Good value. Four of us shared two lunch specials & spring rolls & were contently full.
Dead Fish all done. So its downhill all the way for this former hotspot for Japans biggest export. I have been Ladner Sushi about 6 times in the last year. I think this last visit was indeed my last. First think I noticed was, no music, no sound of any kind. It was like eating in a dirty little morgue. Second; service, I just dont think the whole cute but totally untrained and utterly incompetent act really cuts it. It is sushi for gods sake how complicated can it be to serve 3 tables and get it right! I dont come in for some sort of ethnic behavioral emersion, I am there to eat and be served while I do it. Simple. The owner/cook/whatever surfing the net in the corner is an indicator that these folks are phoning it in and will be on their way shortly to brokeville.
One of our favorites. We eat here regularly, although mostly via delivery. Good food and very fast service. Highly recommended.
ABSOLUTELY the best sushi in town! It is amazing for a small town like Ladner. I go there almost every week and every time I have fresh affordable sushi. So nice to have a great meal on a students budget!
HORRIBLE SERVICE. Completely unprofessional. Sushi is good but they seem to treat their employees with NO respect. The coldness of the employees and they are totally rude. Maguru or Mt.Fuji is way better and much friendlier people.
