Holindase sauce in the breakfast bowl tasted like it had curry spice in it. Complelty gross. Would never get it again
How do you screw up breakfast?!. Been to this location twice. It is brutally bad. Last time, burnt pancakes! Actually dark brown pancakes. Horrible-tasting bacon, and very weird-tasting orange juice. I’ve always said, it’s hard to screw up breakfast, but Ricky’s in Ladner managed just that.That breakfast experience was on top of a previous visit about four months earlier, when I ordered a clubhouse. Asked the waitress if the turkey/chicken was not deli style, but actual fresh turkey/chicken, was assured it was, but sure enough, it was the same processed crap that so many restaurants try to pass off as quality meat.Will cross the street to ABC Country every time now.
Went in for an afternoon breakfast with my boyfriend and I…I ordered stuffed French toast..came out as dry toast hidden under a berry compote. Not impressed. Asked for a new one server was slightly apologetic but not really. My boyfriend ordered steak and eggs basted soft eggs came out basted hard. Now I’m sorry but as a server its your job to check these things before bring it to your table. Also forgot my side of sausage ..when our bill came no discount was offered or a free dessert nothing and no apology. Not impressed will never go back.
Absolute Garbage. The title says it all. My friend ordered a simple club sandwich. As the norm, they served the sandwich cut up into quarters, so you’d expect 4 quarters right? Nope, not at Ricky’s. She only got 3 of them, as in 75% of her sandwich. Where did the other piece go? I got the gyoza dumplings, which ended up being 6 thawed out frozen deformities, which I was expected to pay $8 for. What a joke.
DO NOT GO HERE OR YOU WILL BE UPSET!. The staff don’t have good knowledge of how to run the store. It looks like family now running the place as the original owner retired in early 2000. The new owner is really strict and is rarely around to supervise the staff.The food never improved since I visited. Even though Fatburger opened next door, its run by the same owner. The owner watches their hidden cameras at everyone all the time in a closed office or computer but never fixes the problems that arise in the store. Even some of the other staff who run management when the owner is not there have access to the hidden cameras.Due to service becoming very slow since the management took over in late 2000, they had to cut staff and have family members come in to replace them.I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE TO THIS RESTAURANT OR IT’S NEIGHBOR FATBURGER EVER UNLESS CHANGES ARE MADE! SERVICE AT RICKY’S IS RIDICULOUSLY SLOW ALL DAY AND DON’T BE SURPRISED IF THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS!
Disgrace to Ladner. This place was dirty, smelly and greasy. The manager kept staring at my wife and when i told him to stop he continued to stare. Never going here again this place is run by kids and the waiter was very creepy aswell i lost 10 dollars too.
Awful service and bad employees. Pretty sure one of the workers was staring at me the whole time. Some creepy looking guy. Food wasn’t good and tasted like it was old. Served by some kid and when I wanted to talk to the manager he wasn’t here. This is a bunch of creepy kids running the place
