Really disappointing. I had the shrimp melt (which was tolerable if somewhat anemic looking), and my Special Guy had the burger with goats cheese and cranberry dressing (which he demolished pretty quickly). Unfortunately both came with the most shameful French fries, which were barely edible (Special Guy didn’t even touch his); they were ridiculously over-cooked, dark brown and crunchy.Service was so-so. My beer was delicious, but SG got no refill on his diet Coke. But they did make the Coke free once we pointed out the inedible fries, which I guess is something…I won’t rush back, but I’ll give it a second go due to the mainly positive reviews I see here and elsewhere.
Just had lunch, I had the 2pc cod and Chips and although the portion was a good size and the quality good the batter is Panko and dry. The French fries were awful! Really how hard is to make good French fries. The device was ok not great The price was 15$ and worth about 8.95$ To be fair my wife’s burger was much better. Try the goat cheese option. 5 outta 10 I’m afraid.
