Have been here a few times and this is obviously a popular spot for Ladner / Tsawassen locals as it’s always busy. We were her for a friends birthday this go around. The service was friendly with our waitress and obviously if your a local they are very friendly to you. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere traditional Greek. I had the roasted lamb which had nice flavor and the portion was good. The Greek salad is only fair, barely any feta and no olives in mine. The tzatziki was also fair as it was loaded with garlic but not the usual multi layer of flavors that you can get in good Greek spots or make at home. My wife had the garlic cream chicken and prawns and was happy with the flavors. The rice was decent and kudos for the lemon potatoes. The value is decent so it’s a nice stop in Ladner when you feel like Greek flavors. Hopefully they kick the Greek salad up a bit and train some of the staff to wear a smile. Our waitress was great but some others looked like they would rather not be there and when we spend our hard earned $ to have a good meal out friendly is something little to expect.
Never disappointed. Over the past 12 months I have rediscovered this lovely local Greek restaurant. I think since since the change of ownership not only is the food better, so is the welcome. The sharing platter for 4 is fantastic value and has a good selection of food, starting with 4 dips, a bowl of salad and pitta bread.A good local restaurant that is busy midweek is a gem that will keep us going back because thd food is fresh, hot and tasty.
LOVED IT. On a whim we recently tried this restaurant. Taverna Gorgona has the best lamb I have ever had. We tried the platter to try a bit of everything and not one item disappointed us. The restaurant is beautiful, fun and charming. To make the night even better we had our kids with us, our girls were treated so kindly by not only our server but every staff member in the place! Our entire family had a wonderful time. Looking very forward to going back!

Worth the drive.. One of the better Greek restaurants in the lower mainland. Have been here a few times and was never disappointed. The staff are great and if you catch it on the right night (Greek night), watch the party roll. You definitely need to catch it when the musicians are playing.
Liked it,…a lot?!. Me and fren had a very good dinner experience there recently.A friendly and helpful wait staff helped us pick a great selection of appetizers as we were not up for full on supper.The atmosphere is fantastic,…in the way you imagine a greek restaurant would be. But better.The owner has decked out the patio and outer building with all kinds of plants and lights that really give the place a special feel, especially at night.The owners friends were drinking and chatting up a storm at a nearby private table,…it just added to the atmosphere?!,…the friendly owner gave us both a shot of Ouzo,…Ok, now everyone,….OPA?! How can you not love that,…..let’s party?!Oh yes,..our food,…it was great,…Hey, it’s a small community and to have a place knocking it out on so many levels like this is a wonderful thing.Maybe there’s a Greek place doing it better somewhere,…I’m just glad these folks are doing it here.OPA?!
