  Today we had lunch again at Borneo Bistro. The Laksa Curry Soup is fantastic! I have had it at other restaurants in Kelowna and Borneo Bistro makes it the best! Medium spice was just right and the rich flavours of the coconut and curry were just perfect! We have had other food there before and also enjoyed the freshness and flavours of the their food.Today we also had their coffee.It is some of the best- and organic as well!This family run restaurant is definitely worth the trip to Lakeview Heights. It is kind of tucked away in a little strip mall but worth searching out- you won’t be sorry! The service was great and the food is reasonably priced. If you want great food try this restaurant.

  Amazing food amazing people. I’ve lived in lake view for over 15 years and out of all the restaurants that have been in that location Borneo bistro is by far the best. The food is incredible beyond compare and then just to make it even better the prices are so cheap. A must go place for anyone please help keep this family where they are they deserve it and the locals deserve an amazing place to eat. 10/10

  Dinner with the whole family. Our family stopped in for Dinner and to say hi 🙂 The food was great and we all ordered different things. Sweet Chilli Chicken,dumplings, wonton soup and the best of it was the ribs!! Everyone was happy with what they had and looking forward to going back. Great job Chung family, you should be very proud.P.s The bill was pretty sweet too.

  Delicious food and incredible value! When we walked in we were a little worried about the short menu, but we were not disappointed! This place does a small selection of dishes really, really well. We loved the homemade dumplings and the peanut satay sauce they come with is INCREDIBLE. Shout out to Jonathon (the server) and his mom (the chef) for managing a busy night with just the two of them! Excellent service and a super friendly, family owned place. The ginger chicken was excellent and we recommend ordering it with the fried rice. The sauce on the ribs was sweet and spicy in all the best ways and the potatoes in the chicken curry were perfectly cooked – We never thought that simple potatoes could be that good! Thanks for an excellent meal!

  Hidden Gem in West Kelowna. Just a short distance off of Boucherie Road is the best little Asian restaurant in West Kelowna. We had the dumplings, sweet chili chicken, ginger chicken, fried rice, ribs and chicken curry. All enjoyable even for our picky teenage boys. All dishes have vibrant flavours and nice complex spices without being overpowering. Great value as well as our tab was less than eating out at the cookie cutter chain restaurants. No license though but hope that may change.

  Check them out for great, lovingly prepared food!. If you’re in the westside, come find Borneo, tucked in a little plaza up the hill and away from West Kelowna’s ‘big-box row’.Their food is simply amazing, and the family that opened this restaurant seriously cares about their food and their customers. Amazing value here as well!Fresh wonton soup was great, the sweet chili chicken was a hit with everyone (my family had never had Malaysian-style food before). The Nasi Goreng was likewise great… this is our new go-to spot when we are up here and visiting my parents 🙂
