Decent food, terrible services. I spend my night at the westin resort last night. The resort area was amazing, but this restaurant is no where close to the standard of fine dining services. Most of our time at this restaurant was ignored by the waitress. I also realized the attitude towards white complexion customers were treated much better. I would not recommend anyone other than white complexion customers to try this restaurant.
Stopped in tonight with my favorite guy for the buffet it was good the price was decent and the food was good the lack of different pasta was disappointing but we didn’t leave hungry.View was beautiful the drinks were slow to come.We will be back
Bella Forget It. There were 5 in our group and although it’s a lovely restaurant and the service was very good, I have to say that the food was mediocre at best. Overpriced, small portions and not what we would have expected with the exception of the fish and chips that 2 in our party had. 9 dollars for a piece of cheesecake the size of a boiled egg is ridiculous and tiny portions of pasta which is the cheapest food you can serve in a restaurant. It’s the kind of place where you stop for something to eat on the way home. I wouldn’t bother to eat here again.
Buffet was good, nice selection tasty food service was 2nd to none mains were done well & they had no problems acomidating my wife’s picky dietary needs will go back for sure
Dinner out. Pleasantly surprised, read other reviews and were a little apprehensive.Service was first class from the minute we arrived. Food was very good and would not hesitate to recommend or return to this fine establishment. Over all very impressed.
Sunday Dinner Buffet ($24) worth the Drive for. What a great surprise and real treat to taste some of the culinary creations from the staff at Bear Mountain. With a small child (2) and two seniors it was a pleasant dinner with an exceptional pianast. Dark, romantic and with lots of staff helping make the experience memorable, it was truly worth the drive. Dinner buffet included a rotini pasta (pre-made) with your choice of ham, chorizo, red onion, artichoke, shrimp and/or arugula ingredients panfriend with a cream sauce was excellent. Three oven fired pizzas to choose from – light and crispy, quality ingredients. An excellent seafood medley which was a play on textures and consistancy from a soft el dente risotto base to a crispy calimari top (don’t forget the mussels, clams and seafood in the middle). Best part of the night was the dessert buffets – one in particular (waitress called it a chocolate fudge) was excellent. Seemed to me to be a nutty/gluten free cake with very little sugar and a caramel top. Go and enjoy a paper and magazine by the fireplace and take in the main foyer and a walk outside. B
Disappointing…. We have gone twice to this restaurant and both times I have been disappointed with the quality of food. The first time, I ordered the tiramisu for dessert and it was hard and past due. Fortunately, the waitress took it off our bill and served us another dessert. I was happy with this outcome and that’s why we have gone back a second time. The second time, Nov 17th, I ordered the half rack of lamb and this entree was $40. I was expecting a good meal at this price but what I was served was an overcooked rack of lamb. It was so hard that I had a hard time detaching the meat from the bones. I told the waitress and she said she would mention it to the cook and offered to serve me another meal but at this point it was too late because I would have waited another half an hour and eaten alone. I thought that maybe I would get it discounted on the bill or get a free dessert or glass of wine or anything as a matter of fact but nothing was offered. I paid the full bill and swear to never step foot again in this restaurant. It’s too bad for them because my girlfriend an I spend between $150 and $200 on fine dining on a weekly basis and they just lost our business.
