The staff are great. Very nice and accommodating. Not some where I would recommend for breakfast. We were never offered refills on our coffees. The waffle did not come with butter or syrup, but had whip cream. I had to ask for ketchup and sat for 10-15 mins in an empty restaurant after we had finished till I had to get up and ask for the bill. I had heard good things about this place for lunch and later evening times. Serious improvements need to catch the breakfast crowds.
Service was OK although I feel like the kitchen was under staffed, because it took a total of 45 mins to receive our flat bread which looked like it only took 5 minutes to make. The main entree was the beef short ribs which what I imagined would be juicy and flavorful with the reduced sauce turned out to be quite dry and tasteless must have been over cooked because it took 2hrs for it to be delivered to us (while we were the first ones in the restaurant). And I would have been completely fine with the wait had the waitress apologized or at least explained as to why it took so long. Was quite a shame becuase it looks like they would have a fun atmosphere during there live music nights although I will not be visiting there ever again.
May I suggest?Name cards on your baking to promote what they are and a new morning counter person. A coffee shop should have friendly welcoming staff instead of a surly Man who doesn’t want to be there.Lots of other coffee shops near by.I don’t understand this lack of service.
Hidden jewel of fine and interesting dining. Great friendly staff. Wonderful food. Will go back for sure . Great local artist preforming did a fabulous job entertaining us. Cajun snapper was prepared perfectly , bring your appetite because you will want to have room for appies and dinner
Gluten Free Dream!. I just finished my first breakfast at Evedar’s and I already can’t wait for my next! Friendly and knowledgeable staff made my breakfast choice easy. My food came out of the kitchen quickly and was absolutely delicious. I will be letting all my GF friends and family know about this wonderful bistro!!! I NEVER write reviews but this place most definitely deserves the praise – Well done!

Anniversary Dinner. First time patrons to Evedar’s Bistro, went out for our Anniversary neither of us had been before. Loved everything about the place, food, service, and atmosphere. Can’t believe we have never visited. We will be back again .We shared the Tomato Brushetta, I had the maple bourbon braised Short Rib, it was so flavourful and tender, My husband had the meatball parmesan also delicious.
