Tried this place out a couple weeks ago as I was craving some spice and hadn’t eaten there in over 15 years. The food seemed really greasy in comparison to my fave May Gold just down the road. Not my top pick for Chinese in the area that’s for sure.
First time ordering from this restaurant and it will be the last! Smells and tastes like burnt grease. My deep fried prawns were tiny and soggy and the pork balls were bland and had barely any sauce. Feeling gross and sick after food should never happen.. especially when paying almost $40.00! Stay far away.
Honestly plain and old tasting American Asian food. Very chewy, fatty and flavourless. Never again will we eat here, which sucks because we live next to it 🙁
Ah, Golden Lion. Pretty decent for Chinese food. The quality of the food is good, service is good. Although it all tends to be quite heavy, it’s a good hangover food!
Delivery. Disgusting food. Do not Order from them. Chiw mein was processed chicken with noodles. Man was so rude on the phone. Even tipped them 5 dollars. Gross food bad service

Dissatisfied. I use to order food from here all the time and it was good. It has been awhile since eating there and had take out tonight and it was poor. Chowmein was tasteless and sweet and sour pork was dryThe springrolls were vet greasyThe quality of the food has declined and seems to be of poorit will ne awhile before I will order from there again, hope it improves.
