You can not go wrong by eating at Noodlebox (unless you feel brave and order above your spice level comfort…) I have about 5 favourites so the worst part is having to decide which awesome dinner to get!
A decent place in Langford to get your Asian street food fix in a hurry where they aren’t many options in the region. Downtown, probably not but in Westshore, yes. A variety of modern, fusion dishes to choose from. I remember when Noodlebox started with a small one-man food cart on Fisgard in Chinatown and now is a power franchise across two provinces. Another Victoria success story. Locations are all over the place. Was super trendy about 12 years ago when there weren’t many Asian options in Vic. Needless to say, a takeout meal in a little brown box always tastes special. The Teriyaki is a favourite. The Spicy Peanut Box has a very very creamy peanut sauce (might be too rich for some). Be safe choosing your heat level with all the boxes otherwise it kills the dish. Stir up the bottom – that’s where the flavours at!
Had the Spicy Peanut Noodle Box. Little bit too peanuty and saucy for my taste but overall the noodle bowl had a cook it and tasted good. The girl at the till did ask me if I was a fan of peanut butter since it’s heavily emphasized in this dish. Good relaxed atmosphere and liquor licensed joint.
Delicious! Always great service, and very quick. Great menu selection, and many options. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food that you receive also. If I could eat here every day I would!
I had initially rated this place as 4 for amazing kung pao box i had first time…but was disappointed in my second and third visit…ordered same dish and it was disaster this time with too much soy sauce…and tried tom yum soup and fried rice which was strictly ok
i had some green curry from this place a while a go, and man instant upset stomach! the food had very strong msg taste in our mouth. stay away from this and other noodle boxes!!
