Mega Meh. If you want to fill up and don`t care much about flavour than this might be the place for you. Service was fine, restaurant was clean, but the food was some of the most boring and uninspired food I`ve ever had. Turkey club wrap tasted faintly of old cold turkey and nothing else. Not even salt could help.

UP – Lots of bang for your buck. The food is pretty consistent from location to location so you can’t go wrong.DOWN – No complaints over this place, or any of my other experiences. Additional items are on the high side. $1.25 for some onions? :SOUT – This location was packed which can only mean good things. My veggie burger was absolutely massive and almost a chore to finish my whole plate. That’s the way it should be everywhere!

More like Average Joe’s. The food is not very high quality and quite boring to be honest. Maybe this place is good just for a couple of drinks but there are much better options on the Westshore.

The food was mediocre and the service poor. We won’t be returning.

My pasta dish gone, menu changed… disappointed.. I went back to Original Joe’s for my birthday dinner again and was disappointed greatly. My seafood pasta dish was gone. They changed the menu and not for the better. I’m not a fan of hot spicy and they could at least have items on their menu with the non-spicy version. I ordered a 5 cheese tortellini which had a little too much kick to it that a lot of people would consider mild but not me. I like to taste my food, not have my lips be burning so I pay attention to that instead of the flavour of my food. Disappointed with a place I once loved for that one pasta dish. I will not be returning, ever. Not everyone likes their food to be spicy. Plus, JALAPENO Mac & Cheese? Really? More restaurants need to make a mac and cheese that has some meat and veggies in it and have a non-spicy version. Not everyone is a fan of hot and spicy. I did love the creme brulee I ordered for desert, though, it would have been nice to have see that torched up.

Fish Tacos. One year ago I had the fish tacos at Original Joes. They were very good with a generous portion of perfectly cooked fish, avocado slices , salsa — overall soooo good. Tonight I ordered the same, well nearly the same except, at the waiter’s suggestion, I went for the larger order. Utter disappointment. What I got I couldn’t believe and so sent back to the kitchen. The waiter apologized and said the kitchen was making me a new order. ( he too wondered where the fish was in the first order ) what arrived back at my table was basically the same. Close to a cup of shredded iceberg lettuce, 3 or 4 very small shrivelled overcooked pieces of what must have been the fish although when the waitress came over and I pulled out a piece of what looked like deep fried skin …her comment was …well that’s the way they make them now ..mmm I had my wife sample some of what was on top of the lettuce — it was brown, fried , dry kinda twisted up …her comment …i’m sure thats fish but I think it tastes more like some kind of salmon ( it wasn’t ) As we hadn’t been out anywhere for dinner in a long while I didn’t want to make too much of a scene so paid my bill and left. How they can seriously pass this off as a fish taco really mystifies me when it was 90 % lettuce. Why has the food changed so drastically? My wife had a chicken burger, very basic with lukewarm almost cold yam fries.

Cramped entrance. Slow service. Out of wine we wanted. Poor draft beer selection, overrep’d by Big Rock, which doesn’t make very good beer IMO / would like to see more local selection. Wings were horrible, rest of meal just mediocre like previous visit. Our Third visit, food is just not very good – at least the prices are on the cheap side. No atmosphere. Please someone open a few more casual dining places in the westshore!
