Great little locally owned coffee house in heart of Goldstream Village serving baked goods and homemade sandwiches and most of all delicious coffee from Drumroaster in Cowichan Valley. Way better than Tim’s or Starbucks. Their breakie sandwiches with famous Red Barn smoked bacon are delicious, served all day and very popular. They source all ingredients from local farms and bakeries. The milkshakes are legendary. The two fellows who own the place are so friendly and wonderful. They really care about their customers… all of them. They leave out fresh water and dog biscuits for the canine visitors (Poncho’s is named after their dog!). It’s a nice place too. Adjacent to library so convenient place to sit and read and enjoy a cuppa. The sidewalk patio is a pleasant spot to relax. A great destination while exploring around the village. I see lots of people bike here coming off the Galloping Goose/E&N Great Trail. Nice to support local businesses and families. I highly recommend a visit to lil Poncho’s.
