    Service isn’t that great. Asked for hot water and lemon and received barely lukewarm tap water in a plastic tumbler. Hmmm. No quality checks and felt rushed at the end. (billed before we were even finished eating.. i hate that)On the plus side, the rolls are a good price. They are always fresh and tasty and the sushi chef is quite quick to prepare. They frequently have coupons sent out in the mass mailing coupon packs that come in the mail too so keep your eyes peeled- I got a free okinomayaki last one. I haven’t had any experience with takeout so not sure how the service is with that.If you want a good meal at a good price and don’t care much about service, this is a good choice for people in Langford who want decent sushi.

    Horrible. Pricey,food quality is bad almost not edible , the size of the rolls were too big to eat at once that you had to break it in two pieces making it so messy and not pretty. The food presentation is key point when in a sushi restaurant and this place had none of it. although the restaurant was not busy, the waitress could not advice us about vegetarian choices. also the restaurant needs a good clean up. it looks very worn out and the windows are dirty plus some of the hanging decorative lights above the tables are falling apart.No professionalism at all and the servers didn’t know much about the menu itself.WE HAD: miso soup with 3 very, very little pieces of tofu (even when we asked for tofu in it) avocado roll (5 ugly little pieces of sushi-rice and avocado rolled on sea weed), deep fried salmon roll and monkey brain (which was not fresh, the avocado was super soft). Our overall experience was really bad. Not going back there anymore!!

    Worst service ever, and expensive to boot. Our first two visits here were good, so we decided to take our son and go back a third time. Big mistake. When we arrived, there was only one other table occupied (a couple and their child). We decided to start with 3 rolls for appies. Our server must have zero focus and no multitasking skills, because he gave us the other table’s order. Unfortunately, my family were having a very interesting conversation when the wrong plate arrived, so we did not notice the mistake until we’ve already had a couple bites. When I realized it, I told the waiter about his mistake. Being a good customer, I offered to overlook his mistake and just continue eating what we were served. When he came back we told him we’re ready to order, which seemed to surprise him. My wife ordered, then my son, but he did not look to ask me, so I quickly told him my order, which seemed to puzzle him more. I told him our first order was just appetizers. Our son’s order arrived first. Afterwards, the waiter came back to tell me there is no more seafood udon. I picked another dish, to which he replied it is also sold out. So I asked him if I could order what my son ordered. He said yes, then came back a few minutes later to tell me there is no more octopus, and asked if I would be ok with substituting it with another seafood. So I said yes. It took a while, but my order finally arrived. I asked him about my wife’s order, and he said it’s coming. Later on I asked for more tea and reminded him about my wife’s order. He went back to the counter, but obviously forgot. When he came back, I asked him about my wife’s order a third time, and he asked to be patient because the orders are backed up. I reminded him about the tea, and this time he remembered. Meanwhile my son has finished his main course, and I am about three-quarters through mine. Both of us were eating slower to allow time for my wife’s order to arrive, which was nowhere in sight. There were two ladies who came in a half hour after us, and they got their food ahead of my wife’s! We told the waiter to cancel my wife’s order and give us the bill. When I got the bill, I saw that he had charged us for the appetizers we ate (which was more expensive), and not what we ordered. At this point I just paid and left because my patience had run out.

    Out of the sushi restaurants in Langford, this is my favourite! Nothing beats the prices and friendly service. I would recommend the halibut roll and the Tammy roll. I used to order the golden roll quite a bit however the yellow sauce and the deep fried outer coat is too much together.

    Extremely Sub-Par. This restaurant was awful. All the rolls were very overpriced and small, and the tempura was mushy. The wait staff were incredibly lazy, there was 2 waitresses and only another group of 2 in the restaurant, and they had to request chopsticks. When we did get our food, I waited several minutes then got up and had to request ginger and wasabi… in a sushi restaurant! We certainly will never return.
