I was a little nervous stepping in here because we were the only table in the entire restaurant. I hope this isn’t normal for their Saturday evenings. I had their ramen and everyone else ordered different bento boxes. Everyone was happy with their food and my noodles were made well – the perfect amount of bouncy and chewy. The front staff appeared very young – high school age. Since we were the only table there was nothing to complain about service-wise! Looks like the owners were in charge of the cooking. All in all it was decent!
Worst sushi I’ve ever had, and I’m from Alberta! They were out of salmon, so no sashimi and no rolls with salmon. The tuna sashimi was warm and bland. The tempura was soggy and veggies on the inside looked like they had turned. Left very disappointed and would never go back.
I really love this place! The decor is modern and clean, the bathrooms are always spotless, and Jane is such an excellent waitress! She remembers everyone and is so friendly. The food tastes wonderful–the rice is cooked to perfection, the sauces are delicious–my favourite thing to eat are the rolls. Although others commented on the price of the food–sushi is always expensive! The bento boxes are a great deal! This is a regular place for me to visit and enjoy.
