My son & wife took me to The Fixx for my birthday dinnerThe dinner was suburb,scrumpious,delicious & one could go on, with delightful adjectives.Very busy place , yet doesn’t seem crowded, with a relaxed atmosphere.My opinion is instead of a 4 1/2 star it should definitely be a full 5 star.
Hit n miss. Lots of hype with Fixx. Have now tried a total of 5 times1. Service excellent2. Location a bit of pain with parking and very small inside3. Food–had lobster sandwich which was not good. Escargot way too oily. The veal dish was very nice though
Delightful and warm little place.. Just visited this little place again last weekend and enjoyed dinner with friends. Service is warm, nice wine list and the portions are HUGE. Started with the curry mussels as always – perfection. Hubby had the duck which was on the specials board and did the West Coast Scallop pasta. My only complaint would be that there were 4 smallish scallops in the whole dish however the sauce was delicious and very rich. Obviously a very popular place with lots of regulars as everyone seems to know each other. We sat inside but they have a cozy patio area as well. All in all very happy with our evening out.
First time good, second time not so much. Our first visit to the Fixx was satisfactory. The food was good, staff was friendly and competent, and atmosphere appealing. Our second time there not so much. the food we received was not very appealing to look at and not nearly on par with our first. Will not be back
Wow. This chef truly knows what she is doing ! She is awesome. Everything is perfect and I really like talking to her about each dish and how she puts the dish and flavors together. Awesome !
