Probably the best sushi in North Vancouver as far as quality goes. I’ve always been consistently happy with the food at Mr. Sushi (whether dine-in or take-out). I mostly go there for the rolls but have had their chicken teriyaki and various other hot menu items and they’ve all been great. Their rolls are exceptionally good, however. The perfect amount of rice and filling. The rolls are never sloppy or too big/falling apart. The ingredients are fresh and they have a great selection of rolls to choose from (but not an overwhelming amount of choices like say The Eatery).My favourite rolls are the Dynamite Roll (I know basic af but they just make a really delicious Dynamite roll) and the Troll roll (wild sockeye salmon, cream cheese, cucumber). Service is always fast and very friendly. I don’t believe I’ve ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for take-out. Prices are great too! Must visit when you’re in the area.

I’ve been here a few times now, and the results have been the same. The actual sushi was quite good–tuna, salmon, etc. The rolls were terrible–california reminds me of the supermarket ones, yam tempura was disgusting, rest were mediocre.Usually cheap sushi places have the opposite problem (low quality ingredients, but okay if combined in a roll). I noticed no reviews since 2014. I’d be curious to hear from someone who is a long-time customer.
Love it!. My family eats here all the time. The service is great, they are always so friendly! When we had to wait a bit longer than expected once they made a quick cone for my daughter to keep her satisfied (on the house)! The sushi is always fresh and delicious and the price can’t be beat. We love it.
Memorable. Being an Asian, I am very picky about how the rice is cooked. It was cooked to perfection and the rolls were very flavourful. The price is very reasonable and the service was awesome. I recommend it to anyone who wants a delicious sushi in Lynn Valley area.
Neither good nor bad. I mean what do you expect within this price range? If you really like the high end Japanese food, go to Tojo’s. I can’t say Mr. Sushi’s food is particularly good but It wasn’t bad. Service is good. Food is reasonable for the price.
