I’ve come here a few times and have always had great food. They have a wide selection of breakfast foods and lunch. Boozy coffees are an option too which I love. It’s self serve coffee with free refills. The place itself isn’t that big but has a friendly welcoming vibe and a patio!
I didn’t think this place was bad. My food didn’t take long and it was pretty good. I got the Tommyhash. It’s basically potatoes, corned beef, onions, and peppers all fried up with eggs benedict on top. I have had better breakfast hash, but I would come back for this one. It hit the spot.
If I could describe this place in one word its chintzy. I’m allergic to potatoes, and most places will sub them for a tomato slice or fruit or something. Not here! They have it clearly noted that any substitutions will cost $2 to $2.50 depending on the item. The water had no ice, and my $12 Bennie looked pathetic on my tiny plate with no sides. It was adequate, and I found myself wishing for a far more substantial and cheap breakfast sandwich at Starbucks across the way. They clearly note an additional charge of $2 if I was stupid enough to share my little Benny, along with other ways you can incur additional charges at the bottom of the menu. No wonder they have a sign in the parking lot noting that you will be towed if you go to Starbucks!
Mediocre all around. There have been really good rating for the place. So I thought it was a good place to venture and explore. To me it was a mediocre place. I agree with one of the reviews that the hollandaise sauce was kinda bland. The portions were kinda small as well. However, the potatoes were well seasoned. The service was quite good. A tad overpriced, but considering the neighborhood, I thought it was understandable. Parking was quite scarce, but it didn’t take too much looking for a weekend crowd.
Yuck. If this place used to be good sadly I missed it. Blandest hollandaise sauce, soft panfries and cajun omelette a miss too. Better off going to White Spot.
Breakfast Buddy. Went to Tommy’s today , first time , a bit $$ but the food was excellent! I would go back again for sure. It’s a bit small but and feels like some guys basement, but a good breakfast is hard to find. Portions were great and the quality also, the server was nice , take your girlfriend or I will. LOL
I love Tommy’s! The eggs bennies are delicious. One of the few places that still serves quality food despite being popular.
