This is a small place that concentrates on breakfast and lunch. I’ve been twice and had to wait once but was encouraged to help myself to the coffee while my table was cleared. I really love that I dont have to wait for someone to fetch me coffee, I can help myself to the three options of drip caffeine.The menu is quite large with tons of choices for the hungry and hung over. I was hungry so I ordered the Monte Cristo style sandwich simply because I never see this item on breakfast menus anymore, might have something to do with the gazillion calories you will inhale in one bite.The last time I went mid week with no wait time and had the corn beef Tommy hash. It was just okay, I would not order it again but then the menu is large enough for me to try something new each time I go back.
So I really enjoyed this place the first time I had it. I now only eat here out of convince and to be honest their sourdough toast, which has been super soggy lately… uhg. I feel like this place use to put love into their food but has either given up or gotten too cocky about all their hype. It’s too bad because it could be so much better.
