Way better HK cafe food elsewhere. I can’t believe this place is still in business. There are way better places for HK cafe food in the city and Richmond in terms of taste and price. We ordered a spring roll and it was still completely frozen in the inside. My beef brisket soup looked completely unappetizing. The chairs and table were all sticky. Save yourself the trouble and don’t come here.

Get past bad customer service and enjoy your food. I would say the food there are pretty authentic on the whole. Food is terrific if you can make the right orders. However, do not expect good customer service. My experience with terrible with them on my first visit and I was reluctant to try it again. The lady warmed up to me a little upon recognizing me the second time around but the customer service is still far from positive. I would say I returned for the food so if you can get past the terrible service and just go for the food, you would enjoy it just fine.

Ordered from Order it. Bubble tea was warm and awful tasting. Honey garlic pork was soggy and didn’t taste right. Wonton soup had no flavor. Called to complain about the food and recieved the worst customer service. I would never order from this resturant again.

Beef Brisket..YUMMM. Went for Beef Brisket noodle soup half a year ago, and it was really good. Then went for a second time yesterday for beef brisket with seasonal veggie on rice, and it was still really good. Tried the assorted meat congee too and it was also yummy. Now I live close to this restaurant, I’m definitely going back for more food!! I always get HK style drinks, it’s cheap and great for the amount. They also got a new young male server that speaks pretty fluent English! Which helps a lot when ordering food. It used to be just the owners there that doesn’t speak good English.p.s. They take cash and debit cards now! It used to be just cash only.

Solid neighbourhood place for some casual Hong Kong food. This is one of our neighbourhood places that we go to regularly – probably once every 2 weeks over last few years since they started at this location. The ambiance is just like a small Hong Kong style cafe in Hong Kong. Service is good (by the definition of a Chinese place).Over the years, we have tried many things on the menu. In the end, we generally settle on Chicken vermicelli with ginger and gooseberry in the clay pot, clams with cilantro in the clay pot, or pork chop with tan tan noodle on most days.I am not sure if this is a good enough of a place for me to travel a long distance to visit, but it is certainly more than good enough for a casual dinner on a week night when cooking is off the agenda.

The food was alright for the price that you pay. I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of the establishment and their unwillingness to accept a flat 7-Up and the dirty glass that it came with. This poor customer service is unacceptable and I would never come back here again.

When we’re dining out with the kids, we tend to stick with cuisines that are friendly to their allergies. We were a little apprehensive walking into Ming Tak tonight, but we were quickly put at ease after our server started talking about possible cross contamination. She helped us order the right amount of food as well. The dishes were overall very good with the exception of the carrots in the stir-fry. The decor is pretty basic, but given these prices, what would you expect? They take cash only, but they do serve two beers and a red and a white wine.
