Came here on a Friday night around 10pm with a friend. The place was busy and we took the last table. Friend ordered the rooibos tea with tiramisu cake while I ordered the matcha hazelnut cake. I didn’t order a drink because the tea is refillable (just ask for more hot water) so we could share that. Tea was super aromatic with good flavor so I ended up taking the teabag with me home so I can keep drinking for the rest of the night. Both cakes are good not super sweet and rich. The couple beside us ordered the cheesecake and they said it’s actually quite light so I might try that next time.
Tuesday afternoon, I went to Mr. Mustache Tea and Dessert with my best friend. She was studying there and I was doing some work too. We arrived this place when it was just opened. Mr. Mustache Tea and Dessert is bubble tea and dessert cafe. There are two locations in the Great Vancouver area. One is on downtown Granville street and another is located right outside Metropolis at Metrotown.Mr. Mustache Tea and Dessert is a decent size for small to medium sized groups. People can drink their bubble tea, eating the desserts, and staying there doing their homework/studying or hanging out with friends. My friend and I have ordered the Bee Cheese Cake to share and each of us also had our own bubble tea. I had my regular drink honey green tea.The cheesecake designs very unique and cute. The taste of the cheesecake was awesome. Not too sweet. I love it. The bubble tea I had, was aesthetic and tasty too. A very great place to go for bubble tea. Highly recommend. food.belindajin.com
Ordered an oolong milk tea. Service was efficient. The cafe only has one or two big tables with several 2 person tables against the wall so it’s not suitable for bigger groups. The oolong milk tea was good but the pearls were too soggy and soft. They were clearly overcooked. Not sure if I would come back because it didn’t even meet the basic expectations.
We had the Oolong Macchiato and the Black Tea Macchiato, both of which were fantastic! The teas are a good sweetness, without asking for sweet. The place is quite small and tight, but very cute! Parking is available on the side streets.
