Came here for dinner tonight. It was kinda fancy Chinese food. Big portions. Not greasy at all and didn't need to make a mad dash for the washroom rig…

Shady practice – check your bill before you pay! Came here on a Sunday night and it was really busy. Food was not bad but not cheap either. The three of us ordered a total of $150 (includes two abalones for $30ish each). When the bill came, we were surprised to see it was all hand written. I mean, you position yourself on the high end side and with all that decent decor, your system doesn’t print a proper bill?! So we check the bill and guess what we found. Two items are couple dollars more than what was stated on the menu. It was the owner who gave us the bill. We asked her then she just took it back to gave us a revised one. It definitely raised a red flag. So be sure to check the hand written bill and calculate the total yourself! Remember the prices on the menu! Won’t be back.
Do not eat here, service and food could not be worse, complained about uncooked food and was confronted by the waitress, had to walk out mid argument, do not go here.
I want to eat what I want, not what you want to get rid off.. One of the pushiest restauranteur in Vancouver resides here. Even before you have finished reading the menu, she will come around to push the big ticket items: king crab, fresh spot prawns, etc. Give me a break! I had all those at lunch and I told her so, but still the same selling job. Will not go back for dinner when she is taking orders, even though this place has decent food.
Service is absolutely unacceptable.. This is my first post and I was compelled to write something after experiencing this restaurant for the first time today. We went there at noon for dimsum before going to the airport, and the restaurant was not busy. We ordered a plate of clams but quite a few of them were empty, left with only the shell. We waved down a waitress there, who argued that they were cooked in a batch and started pointing out the shells on our plate which did have meat in them.We then ordered dessert jello, which is already pre-made and only needed to be plated…and we had already paid our bill by the point, yet it took a long time. So my aunt waved down a waiter twice to ask him to inquire about the status of the order. We were waiting to finish and leave so my cousin could catch his flight as we were running late. He verbally agreed to check in the kitchen. But not only did the waiter NOT go check as promised, he went right back to what he was doing, which was just setting up a table for this half empty restaurant. This happened twice before I finally got up upset and told him to check on it, and we even told him to cancel the order as we were going to miss the flight at this rate. That was when the dessert came out.We were upset because of the way we were brushed off. Instead of checking up on our order and being interested, the waiter essentially ignored us. He thought that setting up a table for non-existent customers was more important than serving his current ones. There wasn’t even a lineup at the restaurant. It was terribly rude of him.I went on to post my concerns here as I have never seen wait staff at restaurants argue with you over customer satisfaction and not bother assisting us when we needed help. Then I read the reviews and I see that Furrybean had the same experience with the clams here. The food was otherwise good, but the lack of service would frustrate your average customer. I see it is already a common theme for many of the reviews here.Don’t go here. The name is deceiving.
Chicken scraps for dinner!. We have come for dim sum here before, pretty average. Came for dinner for first time. We ordered three dishes plus soup. The other food items were fairly decent overall but the reason I’m writing this is to make sure you don’t order chicken bones for dinner! We ordered the singing chicken hotspot dish. It didn’t come very hot which shouldn’t be the case but the worst part was the chicken. This dish uses chicken cut up into pieces but all I can say is what chicken? It was mainly bones. The worst part of the chicken they could find they threw it in this dish.m
The very first dish that came to the table was already a disappointment. This plate of clams we ordered, over half of them were empty, left with only the shell. The waiter argued that it was cooked in a batch and so it was distributed evenly and that he couldn’t do anything about it so we asked to see the manager. The manager also came and said that was odd and there was nothing she can do. Extremely disappointing experience already soured by the first dish. See pic attached
Morgan. HORRIBLE food and service. Signature Chicken is extremely salty and greasy. We try to return it but there is NO RETURN policy in this crappy restaurant but FORCED to exchange. Never go back there again.
