Work by this cute little restaurant and come here for lunch from time to time. We usually call ahead to pre-order as we have a short lunch break. They are very accommodating when we visit with 10+ people right before lunch hour. The service is great and staff are friendly. Food is delicious and very decent priced. Lunch specials for $9.50 and comes with a spring roll. Love their flavours!
Food was just average. We tried quite a few dishes but nothing tasted great nor was memorable. This restaurant will be forever etched in our memory only due to our 13 month son at the time took his first few unassisted steps there. As for the food; I wouldn’t go back.
Decent tasting food (not quite the best though), awesome service, and reasonable prices. I had their vegetarian Pad Thai, chicken green curry, and pork satay.
Try the green chicken curry with the thai eggplant – best we’ve ever tasted for green curry! Had it two nights in a row last week… Haven’t tried much else on the menu yet, it’s hard to break away from the usual pad thai and green curry, but I imagine it’s all tasty.
Very good Thai place with a nice, traditional atmosphere.Service is good, prices are decent, and the food is yummy. I guess that’s all you can really ask for.
In a word: awful. The pad thai was sweet and greasy, and that’s it. The vegetarian spring rolls bland and not even of the one note variety. My dining companion’s tom kah gai (coconut soup) was so vinegary as to be inedible and the beef appetizer so overcooked than even a Mexican would turn up his or her nose at it. This was homecooking all right — bad homecooking. We ended up there rather than setting out for the place, and would never go back. No doubt it will continue to flourish. I’ve spent two years in Thailand and never had anything like this: roll on, tastebudless Vancouverites.
Great food. Good size portions for the price. Good service. I’ll definitely being go back again.
