Amazing and consistent every time. We are always seated promptly and the service is on point and friendly! I always get the spicy beef brisket noodle soup. The soup is concentrated, deep, rich and delicious in flavour. it tastes like its been simmering away for hours. The noodles are chewy and the perfect al dente. Not sure if they make them but they taste home made. The beef is SO soft and tastes like its been sous vide! Just so tender, fall apart and flavourful. It’s always a mind blowing experience every time. The last time we went we also ordered the salt and peppery fried chicken. I’ve had this at many restaurants and they don’t compare. Their’s is hot, fresh, so juicy and the batter is light and crunchy. Also ordered the fried squid. Squid is tender and the batter is again light and crunchy. I dont know how they do it, but i certainly hope it never changes.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The dan dan noodles are very good here. The sauce is rich and creamy, with the consistency being just right. It’s liquid enough for you to mix with the noodles, and viscous enough to stick on the noodles. The noodles too, so good. Nice and thick, bouncy. The cold cucumbers are well seasoned and tasted pretty darn good too. It has the noticeable flavours of chilli and and sesame. Less noticeably garlic and vinegar. My friends who came all said that these are their now fave cucumbers. However, I prefer the cold cucumbers at Lao Shan Dong because they are much crispier, my preferred texture. I wouldn’t describe the cucumbers here as crispy. My friends all had the n.1 beef noodle, and the one friend who loved eating at the Cambie location (now closed) mentioned that the soup here wasn’t as great. That’s up to debate.Came here for a late dinner around 9:30pm. Found out that they close at 11:30pm on Tuesday nights, which is pretty late for that area. Perfect for an after-movie bite.Service was also attentive, as our tea was always refilled. There were about three or four other tables dining in when we were there. The place seems to be a popular takeout option too.I would come here again, if just for their dan dan noodle. Though, still gotta compare that beef noodle! bonbonberry.wordpress.com

Wangs Taiwan Beef Noodle House ReviewI have traveled to 20 countries around the world. I been to Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. I been to places where Minnan or Hokien People live like Xiamen, Fukien Province in China. My Family comes from the Philippines. I am a Chinese-Filipino who like in Vancouver for a long time. Wangs Taiwan Beef Noodle House a little different from the food I ate in Taipei. The food in this restaurant is a little different from the food I ate in Xiamen. Hokien Food in different from Taiwanese food. There is a different taste in the food from Chinese food in Hong Kong, in Fukien Province, in Guangdong Province and in Taiwan. I go to this place time to time only, I enjoy the food that have more spices in it then dishes with less spice in it. I like the friendly staff. The place is very clean and the food is freshly cooked. The prices are not very expensive, but not cheap for noodle soup. The food you eat is not like the one a person would eat from a fast food place. If you are in a rush go to another restaurant and be careful if you order spicy hot. That all for now.Jolie

Used to like this noodle house and the food provided. However, the recent visit totally changed my mind. The old server and the woman behind the counter are quite rude and mean. Has the restaurant changed owner? Why the atmosphere is so different now? No appreciation of business. The worst thing is the noodle soup…it is totally different than before. Will never been there any more!
