I have been getting coffee almost every morning for 2 years here (no I will not calculate how much $ I could have saved by now ) and I have to say this is such a pleasant place to come. I always feel greeted with warmth and cheer. One time I forgot my wallet but they still let me have a coffee (which I paid back of course). Really friendly vibe. Coffee and tea (try the Paris tea) are delicious, and I’ve gotten a variety of bagels, muffins, pastries & sandwiches, all delicious. In particular their jalapeno bagel is to die for. There’s also a comfy couch to sink into. I could keep going.
Friendly staff who know how to make coffee with care! They pay attention to detail, unlike other cafes who mass produce and send out sloppy coffee. They also have a good selection of soup, sandwiches & desserts. I like Wicks and visit on weekends to treat myself.
Their Muffins are really good. I have been there like 5 times and never tried anything else other than the muffins. The hot chocolate is good too. And the outdoor seating is great in summer.
I’ve never been a big fan of cafs. I went here cause I was hungry for a small bite to eat, so I got a ham and cheese melt bagel. It was a simple bagel with a slice of ham and cheese on each side and put in the toaster oven for $5.25. I would have gotten a wrap, but they were like $7 and very small. The food was OK and the service was decent. It’s a cafe.
Cute little place and nice service but the selection of items is a bit pricier and mediocre. Last time I tried their lamb leek soup and it was quite tasty though. If I come back it would just be for the atmosphere and if nothing else was open.
Amazing experience !! Best lattes in town – super friendly staff – tried the TLT panini and loved it . There is a great energy in here and we will definitely be back
Neighbourhood Gem. Wick’s is a great little coffee shop. As someone who lives and works in the neighbourhood it’s great to have a local shop that wants to get to know you. I run into all the Marpolites there and it seems like all the lovely Wick’s girls know our names and how we like our coffee. Very friendly staff makes the different.
