I’ve had going to Wicks since it opened over 15(??) years ago. I live 2 doors down from so I’m a frequent flyer. I go there at least 3-4 times a week. Over the years, I got to know the owners who actually work at the restaurant DAILY. To Marianne, this is a labor of love and it shows. She trains the staff herself and they are trained well.. The quality of drinks and food are great and consistent, there is no off day! I really enjoy their soup, especially their chicken and wild rice. When I go there, I see the same customer all the time. I highly recommend them to you when you are close to Marpole. It doesn’t have the fanciest food but I really enjoy their atmosphere and staff.
