its simple breakfast and lunch stuff. nothing special. good prices, good service. only real complaint is the corned beef hash. the beef must be canned. its salty and well, mushy. i still go back a few times a year.
It’s an old style diner with a decent price point, unlike a similar place in N. Port Coquitlam. General environment, clean and bright. Ordered a regular burger w/fires. Fast service despite lunch hour crowd. Just the right amount of fries, served hot. The burger includes lettuce and a tomato slice. Maybe a touch too much mayo. Bill w/tax, $7.30 Yes, I’d go back there.
Good fast standard breakfast, their food is always hot and they put a decent amount of butter on the toast. The hash browns are really good as well.
Ordered scrambled eggs with pancakes. Standard greasy spoon cheap eats. Service was poor and they couldn’t comfortably comment on any food suggestions. Asked him how the pancakes where at this location and he just stared at me and nodded. Coffee was also terrible and old and they might want to have a door or something to block the view of the kitchen as it looked like my amigo breakfast a few hours later.
Nothing special at Amigo Cafe except for cheap eats at a mom and pop run greasy spoon place. Service was fine. Didn’t experience poor service like many of the other reviews.
Great spot for breakfast/brunch.. Didn’t feel like going to kc’s cafe last month so i decided to give this place a try as I’d never heard of it before. I didn’t mind driving from the north side to hit this place up. breakfast was on point, great prices and awesome service. I see a few reviews knocking the service but in my experience i had great service, the food was good and it was an overall good experience. definitely gonna come here on those lazy days when i don’t feel like cooking breakfast or lunch. since there is no more poco’s cafe, and kc’s cafe has fallen off, this place is the best breakfast spot in poco IMHO
Place is dirty and I had a freind that worked there and said if food falls on the floor he picks it off the floor and back on your plate
