Came to get some brown rice sushi. Unfortunately, the rice was uncooked and was very hard. Reasonably priced though. I am sure their regular rice sushi would be better.
They have a great deal – 22 pieces of sushi for $6. Defintely not the best sushi but it works when you’re hungry! Average food with very nice friendly staff. I do takeout often due to their good deals.
It’s good, it’s fast, you know what you’re gonna get. For a sushi hankering, Hiro is just fine; nothing fancy, no surprises but good. Having said that, the quality of sushi available around the BC Lower Mainland is superior relative to anywhere else in North America. The quality and freshness is great and there are ton of sushi places (practically two on every corner)! So the quality is high and the prices are very reasonable.
These folks do a great Spicy Tuna Roll.Good value for most of their products. Kitchen is consistent and fast.Servers are hit and miss, good to just ok.I’d stay away from the lunch hour as it’s quite small and fills up fast.
Tried for the first time, I judge my sushi restaurants by their sashimi. The salmon was a Beutiful cut with great size and tasted very fresh. A+ for the sashimi. Small location but very busy, I will return for sure. The maki was very good and spring rolls were delicious.Highly reccomend this place, very friendly and clean and well priced with the quality offered
I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the last 6 months. I find the food is always good, like that they have an option for brown rice. It’s always busy but the service is great regardless. They are not super friendly but not rude either. The price range quoted on the listing is 43 bucks for two? You’d have to eat A LOT. My husband and I get two special roll orders, miso and gomae for less than 30 bucks. Expect decent food for a decent price.
Cheap and good. Cheap nigiri, my wife loves the salmon. Roll sizes are good and the sushi rice isnt too sweet like some other places. We order a few rolls and nigiri 3 times a week, it gets busy around dinner time though so order for pick up if you are in the area (usually 15 min wait)
