My daughter wanted to try their cakes so bad so I took her and was beyond disappointed! Not sure how they get away with selling such stale, dry cakes?Even if they were giving them away for free I will never try them again. Thanks for over barging us too! How do you ever keep customers?
Yummy. Best little cake shop ever. Cupcakes are marvelous, especially if you don’t eat them right out of the display case. Have given cakes from the shops to numerous clients, and have always came back with glowing reviews, with those clients even going to the shop to get their own creation.Staff is warm and friendly and makes you feel right at home. Have never had a bad experience.
Had a red velvet cupcake from here. It was horrible. The cupcake was incredibly dense and dry (dare I even say stale), the color was pink not a deep rich chocolately red, the icing was subpar and did not taste like it contained cream cheese. Definitely do a tasting if you plan on custom ordering a cake.
Why. If you take the time to create beautiful art back it up with a good cake for that price. Our cake was sooooo stale. And lacked flavor.

I’ve never been to this cake place but you sound really bitter and did you complain to the owner? Also did you eat the cake the same day you picked it up cause Icing does dry out fast! I sure would have for $100.00 cake even a $20.00 cake!! I Like to give people a chance and maybe they just had a bad day! Also POCO is not the busiest place in the Lower mainland!! You just sound Like a mean person who should have just worked it out with the owner of the cake place instead of posting your issues on here! or you could have done both and you would have gotten a better result in the end <3
Happy customer for the last 3 years!. I have been a more than happy customer for the last 3 years with Luscious Creations, and have ordered 4 cakes from them over those years. I have never had any of my cakes been dry or even close to burnt and find it hard to believe it is the same bakery. They are great bakers and bake better than most. If you mentioned your concern to the owners I’m sure your issues would have been resolved better than by smearing a really great local business. I just think that before you bad mouth someone’s business you should make sure you have your facts straight, junior6.
You don’t get what you paid for!. Maybe I am wrong, but when a person pays the better part of $100.00 for a simple birthday cake you would expect a good cake! This however is not what happened. The icing was rock hard. I had to stand up in order to apply enough pressure to the knife to actually cut into the cake. Once I got it plated…. I noticed this wasn’t even the kind of cake I ordered. Now what was really disappointing; is they don’t even know how to bake. The cake was dry. not a little dry. this was a bran muffin that has sat for two days and had a burnt bottom. Ya!! Burnt bottom. We ended up throwing the cake away. I will give them this. It did look nice. But for that kind of money you better get a good looking cake and a dam good tasting one as well.This is a bakery trying to be the Next Cake Boss of the lower mainland, Problem is they don’t know how to bake.Thanks for taking my money and ruining a birthday.
