Friend has been raving about the spicy wontons here and thought I would make a pit stop since I was at the Crystal Mall. Some reason they served it for take out but the dish was quite delicious. Order comes with 12 good sized wontons. The wrapper was not too thick and had a good smooth texture. The filling was light, lean and juicy. Requested for less spicy but had a good kick. Loaded with peanuts and green onions. Seemed to be a popular dish as many people around us ordered it. Will definitely be back! Heard the noodles were a hit too!
The large intestine noodle soup is tasty. The intestine which is also known as chitterling in the English speaking world but in my home country we call it tripas, is flavorful. The sopa is also excellent.
Holy balls. I love spicy and this dish is the best. If you like spicy and you like noodles. Come to Crystal mall. Order #7 and let your tastebuds go nuts. Its the perfect amount of soft chewy noodle texture and its loaded with chili. Some bits if pork too. No veggies tho.. veggies are for squares anyways… jk I love veggies. This dish is worth the $7 in your pocket. Also posting 2 other meals from another stand in a bit. Yum. Fair warning – I got 2 of my gfs hooked on this dish. Beware. That delicious.
Misleading Name. In Chinese, the name roughly means spicy wonton king. And as you may have guessed, they specialize in spicy garlic wontons.Honestly, there’s nothing spectacular about this place. I mean how hard is it to cook wontons and pour chilli/ chilli oil over it.Foodrebuttal.com Recommendation: Don’t order it extra spicy to aggravate your significant other.
