Poor service & below average food. From the menu looks promising for a healthy meal. Greeted by teenagers who had no motivation to work. Ordered the Signature Box (sounded decent as it came with 2 skewers of shrimp wrapped around eggplant slices), girl behind the counter asked if I wanted cheese with the meal- I declined & said no thank you. She either couldnt comprehend my decline or plain wasnt listening, could be both. So she replied in the most condescending tone that the meal came with cheese. So I said okay. Couldnt understand the point of asking the customer for their preferences if she was going to just add items to the meal anyway?!?The box was basically all rice & quinoa with bits of salad & dressing. Shrimp & eggplant were bland. My recommendation- go elsewhere for a healthy option.

I passed by this place while taking a break from shopping. My girlfriend wanted something fresh and healthy. They have a pay pass app that gives you a discount off your first bill, which is cool. You basically choose what you want in your salad and they chop and toss it up with dressing. The only downside, and it’s a huge downside, is that the workers use the same tongs for every ingredient. Now think about this… What if someone was allergic to Bell peppers, right? Not cool. Management needs to be aware of this.Other than that, it’s a healthier option.

A nice fast-food place that offers healthy options. Actually, I’m not sure if it’s that healthy due to the large amount of dressing they put on, but it’s probably one of the more nutritious options available in the food court. I tried the Local Tofu in salad form, which was tasty. The dressing provided good acidity and flavor to the refreshing tofu; a combination that worked well together, even though there was too much dressing for me. I also liked the way they cut up the salad and had crispy dry noodles, so that there was a little bit of everything and some crunch in each bite. Service was great as well, and the generous portion filled me up (though at $10, it’s a little bit pricey). The noodle boxes look really good, so I’ll be back to try that!

I stumbled upon this place at the Food Court at Metrotown. I come to this mall quite often and I was pretty bored with the other fatty options around. Then I saw Chop n Toss hidden near the back of the food court close to the Bay. They have salads, rice boxes, noodle boxes, wraps, and juice. The rice boxes are quite filling and they were quite generous with the amount. foodology.ca
