My boyfriend is the sweet lover and he always took me to try different kinds of desserts. Cinnamon buns Connzeo is one of them. We went shopping at Metrotown and we shared one cinnamon bun at Connzeo. The store is nearby Superstore and it always has the lineup. The cinnamon buns here are the little bit expensive, each of them cost $5. I am not a fan of sweet food, but after eating it, I felt its worth the price and loved it. The cinnamon bun here was fresh and hot like just took out from the oven. I was surprised that the icing wasnt too sweet than I thought to be. It was a great experience to try it. food.belindajin.com

Then she called me wanting to meet me at the mall to shop… So I got no whip cream.Anyhow, my expectations were pretty high. I didn’t want a shitty Tim Hortons ice frap. My first ever sip of this cinnamon bun frap sucked.The whole drink lacked a cinnamon caramel icing flavor. I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps it was a worker error?This review was just for the frap. But I’ll come back to try the bun another day.
June 06, 2014It’s been a while since I had Cinnamon Buns, especially cause now I’m on a sorta diet and my boyfriend doesn’t like it when I want to eat one. Luckily with some progress, he let me have one today since I was super hungry! When ordering, I noticed there were few different sizes and options to choose from eg. dippers, mini, frosted, non-frosted, extra frosted. The regular frosted looked a like it had too much icing on it since it would be too sweet for me. The lady was super nice and helped me scrape some of the icing off before packing it for me. She was even darning herself for just putting the icing on just several minutes before I arrived. We had a good laugh. The cinnamon bun was hot and soft. So tasty.
Best on Earth!. There are only two chains on Earth that make the best cinnamons; Cinnabons and Cinnzeo. Among the three cinnzeos in metro Van, I find that the Metrotown location does it the best. I tried them all and they are all good but somehow there is that little extra at Metrotown. It is too bad that you can’t use the same stamp card for all the locations. One thing I did notice though is that if you buy your cinnamons around the time the mall opens you might not get the fresh ones as they probably try to sell the ones from the day before. Another thing I noticed is that their prices went up when the GST came back which i think was a mistake. Definitely it is a MUST try if you like fresh and hot cinnamons. And yes, they are always ready to give you more icing free of charge which is super nice if you have the sweet tooth 😉
Yummy!. Delicious cinnamon rolls – tender, ooey gooey and so much filling, not mostly bread! The woman at the counter is always friendly and will give you free frosting!I just wish it wasn’t so expensive – it needs to be a dollar less!
