Had Ramen night with friends and the food is good. The Ramen tastes like Kimchi soup as the kimchi flavor is too strong. Serving time is 20 minutes as the restaurant is very busy. The place is good. I like the interiors.

Needed a quick meal while shopping, so wife wanted to try this place. I had low expectations already having been next door at their regular Japanese place, but thought maybe I’d give them a shot here on the ramen side. They performed as poorly as I expected. We tried the original ramen with chashu, the Kawawa ramen, the chashu don, and a side order of roast pork. The broth for both noodles was bland and watery, without any flavour profiles, the noodle tastes like instant noodles, not actual ramen, and the meats were also flavourless and mushy. The don was cold, and consisted of the same mushy bland chashu, hospital food-like corn, some store bought kimchi, and canned bamboo strips. The only slightly tasty item among the food was their egg, so I’d suggest just ordering a few of those and calling it a meal instead. Their ice blended drinks were also tasteless and watery. Save your money, eat somewhere else. There’s plenty of better ramen choices East on Kingsway that are better than here.

Slow service even when the restaurant wasn’t even full. Ramen soup base was very diluted and bland. Probably worst ramen around this area. Would not come again.

So a bit of a desperate decision going to Metrotown. I haven’t been here for literally 3 years or so for good reason. This place for ramen is mediocre at best. Had the miso ramen and a matcha smoothie, both are lacking in flavor. The kimchi topping overpowered the soup and made it slightly spicy and sweet, on the plus note meat was okay mostly lean, the noodles were chewy and they made the egg well, aside from the abundance of kimchi ingredients are lacking. As for the smoothie it’s like sweet light milk with a slight powder of matcha.

Haven’t been here for some time because the ramen wasn’t that great..but we went to give it a try..we ordered the original ramen and the shoyu ramen..they were still doing bad..the noodles were not chewy and tasted not good..the chasiu was super thin so we weren’t able to pick it up..since it was so thin..there wasn’t any texture can be tasted. The booth and the ramen were just like two separate thing..but ramen supposed to be matched with the booth really well..most importantly, the egg in the ramen was extremely terrible..it was super sour..I think they marinated with too many vinegar..service was terrible..the servers’ head kept looking down to the floor and not attentive at all. Not recommended this at all.

Service there is okay but the restaurant is really dirty. I would recommend people who don’t want to spend too much money on a meal because ramen there is really cheap.

First time was decent. But i recently decided to try this place again with my sister because she was curious and i was hungry. Long line up is pretty much expected here considering that Metrotown is a busy mall, but service was terrible and the ramen was very low quality. Broth was oily, and the meat was very dry, but the noodles were decent. Even adding minced garlic didn’t help with the flavours. My sister had the shoyu ramen and she was very disappointed, stating that the broth is kust water with poor flavours. We won’t be coming here again.
