Freshly baked quick bites. Have eaten from this bakery numerous times and they never disappoint. Cash only place so be prepared. The Weiner buns in different variations never disappoint. The tuna bun is sweet and savoury. Bbq pork buns have a sweet meaty filling with crisp pastry encasing it. The taste and texture of their pastries are top of the class. My recommendation- try the tuna bun.
It’s mothers day! As usual we would get a cake from anywhere. My girlfriend got one during her errand run from here. Usually we would get a fruit cake one but they were all sold out, shit LolShe got a chocolate one. I was a little worried that it would be too sweet from the looks of it. But you know what? It was really light. Spongey and not too sweet. It was perfect for my mom! Delicious.
Kinda weird. Not nearly as nice as the Chinatown location. The price of the cake I ordered changed three times (it went up) from the time I ordered it to the moment we paid for it. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt by assuming that their menu may need updating. I have never had a menu item go up in price three times in a single restaurant sitting before.Booths are clean and quite comfortable.
Used to be better. I have been buying treats from here for years. Lately tho I have noticed they are skimping on ingredients. The coconut buns used to have the coconut and sugar in the layers (like a cinnamon bun), but now it is just on top. So it makes it a bit dry and less flavor. Also, the lemon sponge cake has so little lemon filling now that it doesnt even taste like lemon.I recently tried the passion fruit cheesecake for the first time. Amazing. So good!
