Best polish deli in Burnaby by far! The pastries are delicious and the sandwiches and soups are so fresh! I basically ate here nearly everyday since it was across from my school! I highly recommend this place for a good bite to eat or for some great sausages and pastries!
We call this place ‘The Mean Deli’ at work. The selection of nice euro chocolates and pastries is nice and the sandwiches are excellent but it’s painful going in because the Staff are so blatantly unfriendly. My brother and I would challenge ourselves to make them smile, but neither of us have been successful after many attempts. I came very close once…one of the women twitched the side of her lip slightly…i was so excited but she didn’t complete 🙁 Ahh well, next time.The place is tiny, but there are a few tables and chairs crammed in there. I took a seat in an available chair that happened to face the counter. I was just eating my sandwich and soup and staring blankly ahead. Suddenly the woman behind the counter asks me rudely ‘what do you want?’ I said ‘oh nothing, I’m just eating’ and she said in a really irritated tone ‘well why are staring’. Whoops my bad for raising my head as I eat. Be sure to study the menu with perfection before you order because if you make one mistake you’ll be given the evil eye and a frightening scowl immediately. Be strong and command your order without small talk and you’ll survive. Good luck hero!

BEST BISTRO AND DELI IN BURNABY. Gee I love the sandwiches, omelettes, warm food and little home made specialities these ladies make. Delicious and fun for less than $10!
