Had the chicken souvlaki. Rice was done alright. Pita bread was nice and soft. Chicken was a tad bit dry and did not have enough char from the grill. I guess this a decent for Greek food at the food court. Nothing special to write about.
Been here once. Had the Opa Platter with Chicken Souvlaki. They serve it with some Greek salad, rice and Pita Bread. I absolutely loved the Souvlaki, great flavours. So was the Pita bread and salad. The rice was okay. But overall a nice meal amd one should give it a try.
I like Mediterranean food, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that when faced with the plethora of options of a food court, I would go for Opa.We ordered the chicken platter with an extra skewer which came to around $15. The platter came with chicken souvlaki skewer, rice, roasted potato, pita bread and a tzatziki dip. We loved the tzatziki (again, this shouldn’t come as a surprise), and the pita was amazingly soft and fluffy. But the rest of the food was pretty average. In terms of quantity, the platter packs a decent amount, definitely more than one person could eat, but falling a little short of being enough for two hungry adults. It was an okay experience over all.
Dam. Wasnt a good choice to choose Opa among the food court foods. Damn salty!!!!! Why is it so salty? I’d rater have NYF poutine… 🙁 even the greek salad was super salty that I felt Im gaining weight by eating it. Well the lamb meat and the the the… Bread(?) was ok. Other then that, NO NO.
Disappointed. I’ve eaten at the Langley location a few times and have been happy there. This location, i was really unhappy. Overcooked meat, wilted lettuce, tzatziki was mediocre. I just chalked it up to being a busy day at the mall. But i won’t eat here again.
