My friends and I we t here to try something new and as soon as walked in the manager Sayeed at me in a weird way, the food must have been the worst thing I’ve ever eaten I don’t think anyone should eat here
I love coming to buffets but this was one is a pretty average buffet. A good amount of selection and a desert showcase to choose from made it decent. Price is okay and they have a soft serve ice cream machine!
I’ve visited Uncle Willy’s with my parents a long time ago, when I was probably just 8 or 9. I remember really enjoying my time at the restaurant, which as a buffet, gorging myself on massive amounts of fried chicken, ham, cakes and ice cream. I haven’t been back to the place in many years. Recently, while shopping at Metrotown one afternoon, I decided on a whim to go to the restaurant for dinner. It was still quite early (at around 4:30 pm), and the place was almost empty when I entered. The food was decent – I mean you can’t expect anything gourmet from a buffet like this. All of the savoury items were lukewarm, and the selection was very limited, but they all tasted fine to me. I did enjoy their desserts more, but then again, I do have a major sweet tooth and it doesn’t really take much to satisfy me. All in all, while the food wasn’t terrible, it didn’t live up to what I had remembered and I don’t think it justifies the $16.95 price tag. I don’t believe that I’ll ever be returning again.Savoury Food:2.5/5All of the food was lukewarm, but that didn’t bother me too much,. None of the meats were very good – the roast beef was quite dry, but the fried chicken, roast chicken, ham and pastas tasted alright, and I actually quite liked their cornbread, which was soft, moist and sweet (albeit cold).Desserts:3/5They have a pretty good selection of desserts, which is of course, the most important part of the meal for me. I enjoyed the desserts more than the savoury offerings, but then again, I typically like sweets more than savouries anyways. Their cakes were all moist, albeit a bit too cold. My favourite was this banana-raisin cake and this rainbow-sprinkled cake that had cream cheese inside.
i haventbeen there in long time imthinking of going back it a awsome place good stuff to eat good people i cant ask anymore imthinking going this fridayor saturday or next week. lllsee
The bus boys here are really cute! I also really like the chicken I think it might be the best I’ve tried can’tWait to come back my friend and I are planning a visit on Sunday when they bring out the tandoori chicken
Come on, what’s with all the negative reviews? I have been going here for years. The price is, the people are friendly, and the place is older but clean. You get a full meal at a reasonable price! For $10 to $15 for all you can eat, beats the junk food restaurants and they serve real food and great chicken.
Pretty bad . Biggest waste of 15$ you could imagine. DONT GO. Seriously don’t . Place is super run down and dirty. Food is disgusting ….. I pushed away my plate after sampling most of my selections.
