January 12, 2018Came here for a quick bite before my doctor’s appointment. Always saw a lot of people grabbing food from here so decided it was a perfect time to try this on this cold and rainy day! I purchased the 4 meat (pork, beef, chicken, and lamb) rice noodle pot. Each noodle pot comes with spinach, quail eggs, and mushrooms. Also, a deposit of $5 for the pot which you get back after you return it! After receiving my meal, the pot was steaming hot and smelt super delicious. The broth was chicken based. This is very similar to a one person mini hot pot. The noodles were cooked al dente. Good combination of poultry, carbs, and veggies. I very much enjoyed this. A good way to warm up! Definitely will try something else when I ever in the area again.

Contains the special rice noodle, not many congee/noodle places have this option, fatty beef slices, plenty of spinach and thin bean curd noodle oh and the best part, their delicious spicy soup (warning: it is pretty hot!). The soup holds the spirit of this noodle dish, the spicy element just adds that much more flavour to the yummy pork soup. This place is popular too, so expect to wait awhile for your food. It might be just me, but the clay pot it gets served makes the noodle that much more satisfying. porkninjas.ca
I’m impressed!. Came here the other day looking for some dinner. I’m not a big fan of crystal mall, I don’t think it’s up to par with other asian food courts such as yaohan or parker place but because I live by and wanted something quick I decided to give this noodle place a go. I ordered the lamb rice noodle I think it’s called, it was $7.75, not cheap, but it was really good, the noodles were nicely cooked, the lamb was tender and it even came with a quail egg….pretty tasty. The only negative thing about this place is the girl at the counter, she’s not too friendly, borderline rude..but because the food is good I’ll be back.
