Was craving for Hong Kong style milk tea after watching a movie over at the Landmark Cinema in New Westminster and this was the closest find. It was Thursday around 6:30pm and the restaurant was half occupied. Seemed like most people came here for the individual dishes instead of set meals. I ordered the BBQ duck with rice noodles and iced milk tea (+$1 for cold drinks). When I saw the bowl of noodle I was a bit overwhelmed, this was gotta be the biggest bowl I’ve seen out of all the restaurants I’ve been to. The BBQ duck was a bit dry so it was disappointing. Total was around $14 including tax and tips.
came here during dinner, and ordered a few items, i think i ordered the fish noodle soup, it was decent, but definitely not the best i have, and the rice portion is huge, comparable to the one’s fried rice portion in kingsway. overall i think the food outside of the fish noodle soup is below average, the combination of seasoning and perfection of texture can be improved. price wise i think it’s decent mangkr.wordpress.com

Rating 4.0Oct 17, 2017The service wasn’t up to spec with only a few tables going but we still managed to get the attention of the not so chatty server. I got the beef brisket noodles with a .50 cent sub for lai fun noodles. $10 in total. The price wasn’t cheap nor expensive but the portion size was pretty big, well at least the bowl was big. This was the only thing I got. Maybe back to try other menu items in the future.
A Good Choice at the Burnaby AreaKnowing that there’s a Hong Kong style cafe opened at the Burnaby area, I would like to give it a try when I visited my elder brother who lives in Burnaby.Went there on a Saturday, an early lunch, a table of 3.We ordered 4 dishes & 3 drinks – Cutlet Pork Chop w. Curry Stone Rice; Singapore Style Fried Vermicelli; Shrimps & Scrambled Egg w. Rice Noodles; BBQ Pork & Shrimp Fried Rice lunch set with Vegetable Udon, & salad. All of the dishes were awesome, both in quality & also in quantity. The drinks were good. The environment as a whole was ok and service was attentive. The only less positive comment I would like to mention is that, there were a few drinks near the counter for the servers and they always went there & took a few sips whenever they liked to. I do think this action was not a very professional attitude to be appeared in front of the customers.I will still visit this restaurant again. Recommended!
