Exceptional customer service. I was at the mall for a quick coffee break and decided to get some fries from opa. I believe the man behind the counter was the owner or manager. It was only 10:30 in the morning so I wasn’t sure if they would have fries this early. I usually get the wrap and fries. I love the food at opa. The man said it would be a two minute wait but then apologized a few minutes later and said they had to turn on the frier and it would be another few minutes. He then handed me a $5 gift card for the delay. Wow I am so impressed with the amazing customer service so I had to write this review. This made my day 🙂
Wow all that food!!!!. I got the platter with chicken. Soooo good! Rice, potato, salad, pita, and grilled chicken. Lots of food could not finish it. Everything tasted fresh n tasty. It took a bit of a wait for my food but well worth it. Next time I’ll get it to go. I didn’t even know it was in the mall, best place in the mall.. It will be on my weekly rounds for sure. Staff we’re super nice too….
I’ve been to a few other Opa! restaurants in which I enjoyed the food, considering it is fast food. Unfortunatly, this time it wasn’t as good. I ordered a beef souvlaki and calamari meals. Eveything was nice and fresh, except for the beef that was used for the souvlaki. Something was off with the meat. It broke apart like it was an over done pot roast, and tasted kind’ve off. I had my wife taste it and she spit it out, telling me not to eat it. As for the calamari, I personally thought it was a little over fryed for my liking, leaving it hard, dry and crunchy. Not to mention a little too much salt was used. On the hand, the greek salad, pita bread, rice and potatoes were excellent. The person working was extremely nice and friendly. All in all, I guess what should I expect from a fast food joint that is located in a mall. Not sure if I’ll go back to this location. I’ll just wait till i’m in Surrey again.
