We were on a self walking tour of the neighbourhood and my husband suggested to go to Mario Gelato upstairs but it was closed, so we went here. After talking to the staff, Marios is its parent company if you will. Anyways, onto our experience. We looked over the large selection of options and made a decision. We turn to the staff to tell them what we wanted to order. The staff promptly told us to order, we did and then we give the receipt of our order. How backwards is that. We finally noticed the small sins to do so. Really?? Most gelato/icecream ask for your order and the set staff ring in your order. On a positive note, if you put in an order far in advance between here and Marios, you can get it at a discount.
After paying for 2 hours of parking my wife and I decided to walk around a bit after lunch and found this place for desert. I ordered the no sugar coconut and no sugar chocolate. It was the best No Sugar Gelato I have ever had. The coconut tasted like sweetened coconut and the chocolate was like a dark chocolate ice cream flavour. The staff were friendly and informative.

It is very delicious, it has creamy texture and tastes really good. Bought for my parents and my niece and they all love the yogurt bars. My complaint is after we bought a full box of yogurt bar, they jack up the price and the price is double. Weren’t impressed with that at all. Tried their tiramisu gelato also and it’s not bad. Their customer service is alright but still don’t like the rip off price for the yogurt bar.
You should definitely try BLACK SESAME. ask for a little spoon if you are not sure that you will like it. Great choice of ice cream, lots of flavors. Plus there are lots of options without dairy and I guess there were some flavors for those who have diabetes(not sure).
Great gelato, nasty counter service. Been here a few times, decided I should stop coming because there are so many other places that have gelato or ice cream just as good without the side of condescending attitude. Blows my mind how people manage to have a bad attitude while working at such a fun job! Looking at the other reviews, this obviously isn’t just in my head.
